The Course
Advanced DoD Data Management is a self-guided professional training designed for individuals who already understand the fundamentals of contract data management and are ready to operate at a senior, strategic level within complex Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
This course moves beyond basic compliance and deliverable tracking. It focuses on how experienced data managers apply judgment, structure, and discipline to support leadership decisions, manage execution risk, protect intellectual property, and maintain credibility during audits, reviews, and milestone events.
If Level 1 taught you what to do, Level 2 teaches you how to think and operate when the stakes are high. The payoff is practical: you’ll be able to speed mission analytics while staying compliant, reduce spill risk, and make data discoverable and trustworthy for the people who need it. Through real-world scenarios from logistics, acquisition, finance, and HR, you’ll practice turning policy into repeatable processes that pass audits and enable secure collaboration with other Services and federal partners. Ideal for data stewards, program managers, system owners, records officers, and contractors who want to turn policy into everyday results.
